Deal means customers in Philippines will have access to 450 online games.
Microgaming, a world leader in online gaming software, has signed a deal with PhilWeb Corp's online casino brand Vibrant Vegas to launch online games through the Philippines Amusement and gaming Corporation's (PAGCOR) e-Games café network.
Under the new deal, PhilWeb, the main provider for the Philippines' state-owned gaming company, will have access to the more than 450 online games provided by Microgaming, as well as its behind-the-scenes support services.
PhilWeb CEO Dennis Valdes said his company believes no other provider comes as close to delivering the best gaming content as Microgaming does.
"Our gaming operations are currently going from strength to strength and we are delighted to be delivering a new casino platform to the market," he said.
PhilWeb reported a 42 percent increase in its intake earlier in 2010, after recording overall revenue of PHP 239m in the first quarter of 2010 following the launch of the Philippine's first ever online casino, eGamesonline.com.ph, by PAGCOR.
Aside from its online activities run in conjunction with PhilWeb, PAGCOR also operates 13 land-based casinos across the country, plus 28 satellite casinos, 24 VIP clubs, 4 arcades and 36 licensed poker rooms. Microgaming operates some of the leading online casinos, including Gaming Club Casino and others.
